Wow. Web 2.0 is exciting and scary too. Who knew back in the 60s or 70s (or the 80s and 90s for that matter) that technology would take us so far. I think it's wonderful, but I get a bit tense when I hear about the way libraries and the world is changing.
My kids operate interactively with technology on a daily basis. It comes so naturally to them. I still marvel at the use of cell phones. I have one, but seldom use it. I want to learn more though. I want to take the plunge, but it's all so new. The jargon is a barrier, but it's one I will plow through. I want to be able to serve the public as best I can, and if it means getting out of my comfort zone, I'm game. It's kind of boring in that comfort zone anyway. Web 2.0, if anything, is not boring.
